I’ve been a musician my whole life—starting at age three, playing in bands since my teens, and working as a professional musician since 2000. Over the years, I’ve played everything from punk rock to country and Americana, built solid bands, toured the world, signed record deals, and collaborated with some heavy-hitters in the industry. Songwriting is my passion, and as a multi-instrumentalist, I love crafting both music and lyrics.

I started Uncle Natchet’s Woodshed because I wish something like this had existed when I was starting out. Back then, there was no YouTube—just a lot of gatekeepers and unhelpful attitudes toward newbies. I want to be the opposite. This channel is here to add value, provide real-world insight, and help you grow your band and career—whether for fun or professionally. It’s like have a family member in the biz.

The advice I share comes from experience. It’s not the only way, but it’s what’s worked for me. Take what helps, leave what doesn’t.
